The Shadow in the Desert (Egypt)

In Egypt, stories are told of a wandering shadow that appears among ancient ruins beneath the moonlight.

An archaeologist named Karim once spent several weeks studying a forgotten temple deep in the desert.

One night, while examining carvings, he noticed a tall shadow standing between stone columns.

At first he assumed it belonged to another researcher. However, the figure moved without making a sound.

When Karim approached, the shadow slipped behind a wall.

He followed.

Nothing was there.

The following evening, the shadow appeared again.

This time it pointed toward a buried section of the temple before vanishing.

Curious, Karim ordered workers to excavate the area. Beneath the sand they discovered hidden chambers containing valuable artifacts.

Local elders believed an ancient guardian spirit had guided him.

Yet strange things continued. Every night the shadow returned, silently watching from a distance.

On Karim's final evening in the desert, he thanked the mysterious figure.

For the first time, the shadow bowed slightly before fading into the moonlit ruins.
